BONDERITE® S-FN 860 ACHESON

BONDERITE® S-FN 860 ACHESON (also known as COPPERSHIELD 860) is a functional preventative coating that protects copper and copper alloys from staining. BONDERITE® S-FN 860 ACHESON is made from a solution of benzotriazole, which forms an invisible film on metal surfaces to keep the copper surface bright and shiny. It effectively prevents discoloration and corrosion, ensuring that the copper surfaces retain their aesthetic appeal throughout various industrial processes. Moreover, BONDERITE® S-FN 860 ACHESON is versatile and can be easily integrated into existing metalworking protocols, enhancing the efficiency of operations that involve yellow metals. This coating may be added to various metalworking solutions, such as emulsions, hot rinse waters, emulsified cutting and rolling oils, wire and tube drawing fluids, and annealing and quench waters.
