BONDERITE® M-ZN 181 X is a powerful conversion coating agent for use on steel surfaces prior to cold forming operation. BONDERITE® M-ZN 181 X creates an incredibly durable nonmetallic, phosphate coating on the metal surface that retains lubricants and helps protect metal surfaces during difficult cold forming and deep drawing applications.
BONDERITE® M-ZN 181 X is available in initial bath Make-Up (MU) and Replenisher (R) grades.
Applications
BONDERITE® M-ZN 181 X is engineered to be diluted in large immersion bath systems at a range of concentrations depending on metalworking operation. Starting recommendations of BONDERITE® M-ZN 181X per 100 gallons of solution are below:
BONDERITE® M-AD 131 (also known as Accelerator 131) is also added (2 fluid ounces per 100 gallons).
