Product Overview

BONDERITE® C-AK 2988 (previously known as PARCO Cleaner 2988) is a high-performance alkaline cleaner that removes body sealers, drawing lubricants and other soils in metal manufacturing.  BONDERITE® C-AK 2988 is engineered primarily for use in the automotive industry for car bodies in the BIW (body-in-white) stage but can be used as a surface pre-cleaner for phosphating processes and coating application.

Applications

BONDERITE® C-AK 2988 is a premium metal surface pre-cleaner and can be applied as received via hand wiping.  It can be diluted with water; however, the cleaner effectiveness will decrease as well.
