Product Overview

BONDERITE® M-ZN 860 XT is a chemical agent for the conversion coating process of steel surfaces to facilitate better cold forming metalworking performance.  BONDERITE® M-ZN 860 XT helps create a dense, fine-crystal zinc phosphate coating that helps retain applied lubricants for greater surface protection prior to difficult manufacturing processes.

Applications

BONDERITE® M-ZN 860 XT is engineered for dilution in large immersion bath systems.  A recommended starting dilution ratio is 50 pounds of BONDERITE® M-ZN 860 XT to 100 gallons solution.
 
The application of BONDERITE® M-ZN 860 XT should follow the complete process below.
 
  1. Surface Cleaning
  2. Water Rinse
  3. Acid Pickling
  4. Water Rinse (2-Stage)
  5. Treatment with BONDERITE® M-ZN 860 XT Solution
  6. Water Rinse
  7. Neutralization
  8. Lubricant Application
