Product Overview

BONDERITE® L-FM 727 ACHESON (previously known as BONDERLUBE 727) is a lubricant used on bonderized aluminum and steel parts during cold forming operations, such as tube drawing, extrusion, and cold heading. This lubricant has a high melting point and film strength, and forms a multi-layer lubricating film by absorbing into the BONDERITE® conversion coating. BONDERITE® L-FM 727 ACHESON facilitates cold deformation by reducing die contact and wear, increasing forming speeds, improving surface finish, lowering the tool temperature, reducing the defect rate, and preventing blistering during heat treatment. BONDERITE® L-FM 727 R ACHESON (also known as BONDERLUBE 727 REPLENISHING) is used to replenish the solution concentration of BONDERITE® L-FM 727 ACHESON. The solution concentration of BONDERITE® L-FM 727 ACHESON should be sustained with small, frequent additions of BONDERITE® L-FM 727 R ACHESON. This replenishing process ensures that the lubricant maintains optimal effectiveness, thereby prolonging the lifespan of both the tools and the finished products.
