Product Overview

BONDERITE® L-FM 3015 ACHESON, previously called MULTAN 3015, is a synthetic lubricant engineered with a synergistic formula of corrosion inhibitors, lubricity improvers, and biocide additives. This additive technology delivers a lubricant solution that is durable, low foaming, and hard-water stable. BONDERITE® L-FM 3015 ACHESON is compatible with ferrous metal alloys and suitable for light- to medium-duty machining, roll forming, and grinding processes. Its application versatility allows for operational and inventory efficiencies for businesses with multiple metalworking operations.

Applications

Roll forming ferrous parts
Machining and grinding ferrous metals

Features & Benefits

Excellent lubricity
Compatible with ferrous alloys
Prevents corrosion
Hard-water stability
Antibacterial protection to prevent fouling
Low foam
Synthetic fluid

Problems Solved

Formed parts are often machined afterward, creating the need to source different lubricants for each process. This results in operational inefficiencies, excess inventory, or extra cleaning steps. Additionally, oil-based metalworking lubricants can be difficult to remove. Poorly formulated water-based lubricants without the right combination of additives can cause biofouling, corrosion, or equipment damage.
