Product Overview

BONDERITE® L-FG GP 151 (also known as Deltaforge GP151) is a water-based graphited lubricant for extremely high temperature presses & dies in warm and hot forging processes.  BONDERITE® L-FG GP 151 exhibits excellent surface wetting and release performance on die and press surfaces at temperatures between 93° and 371°C (200°F to 700°F).  The microfine particles of graphite in BONDERITE® L-FG GP 151 deliver exceptional lubricity and extreme pressure capability commonly experienced in heavy and medium duty metal forging.

Applications

BONDERITE® L-FG GP 151 is an ideal lubricant solution in a wide range of warm & hot metal forming processes, including Precision Forming, Hot Powder Metal Forging, and Mechanical/Hydraulic Presses.

BONDERITE® L-FG GP 151 is supplied as a concentrate and can be diluted with tap water prior to application.  It is recommended to add water slowly to the concentrate while stirring until a ratio of 1:10 (BONDERITE® to water) is achieved.  If tooling temperatures are greater than 600°F (316°C) use a starting ratio of 1:3 (BONDERITE® to water).
