Product Overview

BONDERITE® L-FG 182 (known as Deltaforge 182)  is a graphite, water based die lubricant formulated for use as a billet coating or a die lubricant when forging or extruding various metals and alloys at extreme temperatures & pressures.  Remains stable and resists breakdown even when exposed to temperatures in excess of 1800°F.
 

Applications

Billet coating for warm forging, protection up to 1800°F.
Die lubricant for hot die forging for temperatures up to 1250°F.   Can be spray applied.
Billet end coating for non-ferrous extrusions.  Spray apply directly on end of aluminum billets following hot shearing as effective lubrication.
