Product Overview

BONDERITE® L-FG 153 (known as Deltaglaze 153) is a water based, dispersion of lead-free glass frit recommended for hot forming titanium at high temperatures ( 1600 - 1800°F). Provides lubrication and protects from gaseious contamination while heating.

Applications

Typical application for forging and extrusion of stainless steel and nickel-base alloys. BONDERITE® L-FG 153 is supplied as a concentrate and may be diluted with water or used as is. Spraying is recommended for even, consistent coatings, although good results can also be obtained by dipping. Prior to application, the billets must be thoroughly cleaned and heated to 150°-200°F (65°-93°C).
